Poor little babies! I would be absolutely distraught if they were mine.
They have been microchipped, so let's hope that someone bothers to check and they are returned safe and sound.

poor babies, this is terrible news, praying that they will be returned safe and unharmed. I really feel for the breeders.

I hope they get found soon - Liam must be going off his head with bloody worry. This sounds really bad but if they have been sold to an unsuspecting memeber of the public the chances of them turning up are good if they go to the vet and the vet scans them for a chip. At least he will get them back then - the only proof of ownership is by microchip. If you have the papers and joe blogg down the street has the dog microchipped in his name then as far as the law is concerned the person that the microchip is addressed to still owns the dog.
There was a case here where i live about a year ago of someone who had microchipped their pup before selling but then needed to get it back because of ill treatment i think it was, but she still had the microchip papers in her name although the dog was registered with the kennel club in its new owners name. The judge ruled by law that the breeder owned the pup as the microchip was in her name and the dog was handed back.
I hope Liam gets news soon and i will keep my ear to the ground as we have a breeder/farmer not so far away whose dogs are all from ireland. He has every breed of dog you could imagine - including Shelties and Roughs.

These people that steal poor defenceless puppies are real scumbags, lowest of the low. Hope they are traced and these thieves get their just desserts!!!
