Re: Sian is STILL missing
Surely someone must have her??
I personally think that all animals that are seen at the vets for the first time should be automatically scanned and checked in the database, I'm sure this would help to re-unite missing animals with their distraught owners, what use is it us micro-chipping if they dont get scanned ???
There, I've had my say, my feelings go out for the owners (I know I would be out of my mind if anything happened to my pets)

Re: Sian is STILL missing
If she has been found and taken in, PLEASE don't get me wrong, but what's the odds that the people that have her aren't collie owners, never had a dog before, and just look after her? And how would they know she is microchipped - or what to do for that matter?
I SINCERELY hope that she is well, and that she will eventually be returned to her home.

Re: Sian is STILL missing
It has been noted in the past that no many vets scan new dogs.
perhaps it would help to find her if all the local vets were reminded to scan all older rc bitches in their care.
Just a thought.
