Found Rough Collie Sable Bitch

My friend found a Sable Rough Collie bitch this morning on Locking Camp ( former RAF base). She says that she is in good shape bodliy but matted coat. Sweet natured and friendly but looked elderly.

I remember a lady that had a Rough stolen from Cheddar probably about 2 years ago..the dog's name was Sian ...I can't find her details now...probably too much of a co incidence though.

The dog is now with the dog warden at Weston Super Mare.

Thanks ever so. I've rang the lady and she is going to call the warden...fingers and everything else crossed. She sounds such a nice lady. I remember meeting her at the WoE show a couple of years ago when she was handing out flyers about Sian.

Pat, have you advised the co ordinator of Dog Lost about this dog that has been found, so they can perhaps contact the owner, and see if it is Sian?

Oh forget I said that, I can see you have contacted Sian's owner, I must learn to read posts in full before responding!

How lovely would it be if it was Sian.

I hope the poor girl's owners are found soon, it sends a chill through me to imagine losing Simba like that. They must be going out of their minds with worry.

Is this one on Doglost too? I can't see it.... Even if it was lost in Uttoexter, it could end up anywhere.

I talked to my friend that found her again just now and she says there were gypsies in the next field until recently and it looked like the dog was trying to get back into the field that they were in...

Hope she is reunited with her owners soon, if it is possible that she was with the gypsies she could have come from anywhere!
I wonder if she was microchipped?

i couldn't see it as listed on doglost.
