Christmas Photograph Competition 2009 - Open to all members

Post by Julie on Fri Oct 30, 2009 10:25 pm

Just for a bit of fun we thought it about time we did another photograph competition. We have one main prize (details later), and although entries are free, we would like to donate some money to the Dogs Trust. If you wish to give to this worthy cause, please send a donation via paypal to collienetrescue@aol.com. [this is the paypal account we set up for our previous competition where we raised funds for Collienet rescue]. If you wish to send a donation, without entering the competition, please feel free to do so.

The categories will be Puppy, Adult, Veteran, a Photograph with a caption and Group of Dogs. Please post your photos in the relevant category and not on this thread, restricting your entries to one photograph per category please. Can all members please restrict the size of photos to 300 for portrait and 400 for landscape, any photos not within the guidelines will be removed. For guidelines on resizing photos please see this thread kindly posted by Wayne.

The competition will run throughout November, last date for posting entries 30th November, and we will then run a poll for the winners of each category, to determine the overall winner.

I will start the competition off with a caption entry.

Update -

We will donate an A3 print from a photograph of choice, on artist type paper suitable for framing to the overall winner.

There will also be some class winners prizes.

Come on peeps, we havnt had many entries to date. In order to make this work we need a minimum of 12 entries per class, otherwise the competition may be abandoned.

As the admin team are sponsoring the competition with the prizes it is also disappointing that we have had no donations, or is it the cause, Dogs Trust, that isnt of any interest?
